Inspired by Music
Africa Live! for the past ten years has organized the hugely successful Rocky Dawuni’s Independence Splash to celebrate Ghana ’s Independence Day. The festival has featured the cream of Ghanaian music including Rex Omar, Amandzeba, Nat Brew, Mac Tontoh, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, A. B. Crentsil and Paapa Yankson. The 6th annual event served as a "music revival", sparking renewed interest from both young and old in the legacy of Ghanaian music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's.
